After the implementation of the new national standard, when purchasing down clothing, consumers can adopt the method of "one look, two touch, three smell":

1. Look at the implementation standards on the certificate. For products whose implementation standard is GB/T 14272-2021 "Down Clothing", the overall quality level of down jackets will be significantly improved in terms of down quality, anti-drilling performance, and down environmental performance compared with products that comply with the 2011 version of the national standard.

2. Look at the type of down. At present, there are two types of down fillers in down jackets, goose down and duck down; the breeding period of geese is generally longer than that of ducks, and they are mainly vegetarian. 15%, the yield of goose down is far lower than that of duck down; for down with the same down content, the price of goose down is usually 1.8 times that of duck down, so goose down is generally used in high-end down clothing products.

3. Look at the down content. At present, the common down content of down jackets on the market is 90%, 80% and 50%. The higher the down content, the softer the down feels, the higher the bulkiness, and the better the warmth retention under the same conditions.
